70. rocznica śmierci płk Witolda Pileckiego – Kazimierz Dolny – dn. 03.06.2018 r.
Na zaproszenie władz samorządowych Miasta Kazimierz Dolny, by oddać cześć Niezłomnemu Bohaterowi okupacji niemieckiej, następnie sowieckiej, Honorowemu Obywatelowi Kazimierza Dolnego, przybyli do tego nadwiślańskiego grodu mieszkańcy Województwa Lubelskiego na czele z Żołnierzem mjr Hieronima Dekutowskiego „Zapory”, mjr Zbigniewem Matysiakiem ps. „Kowboj”.
Centralną część uroczystości stanowiła Msza Św. w Kościele Farnym, gdzie zostało odczytane przesłanie p. Zofii Pileckiej - Optułowicz, córki płk Witolda Pileckiego, następnie zgromadzeni wierni oddali cześć Bohaterowi pod upamiętniającą Go tablicą, gdzie Burmistrz Kazimierza p. Andrzej Pisula wręczył nagrody laureatom konkursu recytatorskiego, plastycznego oraz konkursu wiedzy o rtm Witoldzie Pileckim.
Spotkanie zaszczyciły liczne poczty sztandarowe, w tym Puławskiego Towarzystwa Tradycji Narodowych, a także delegacje m. in. Puławskiego Stowarzyszenia Osób Represjonowanych w stanie wojennym.
