Goń z pomnika Bolszewika – Puławy – 20.03.2018 r.
W tym pamiętnym dniu mieszkańcy Puław, w ramach obchodów 100. rocznicy odzyskania niepodległości pożegnali monument „wdzięczności Armii Sowieckiej” za tzw. „wyzwolenie”.
Powyższy obelisk został ufundowany przez Miejską Radę Narodową w 1987 r., w okresie schyłkowego PRL.
Pierwotny pomnik „wdzięczności Armii Sowieckiej” został odsłonięty w Puławach w dn. 30.04.1945 r., sześć dni po odbiciu przez mjr Mariana Bernaciaka „Orlika” 107 więźniów torturowanych w puławskiej katowni, obecnej siedzibie Wojskowej Komendy Uzupełnień.
Natomiast w dn. 01.03.2018 r. z inicjatywy Światowego Związku Żołnierzy Armii Krajowej Koło w Puławach, podczas Mszy Św. w Kościele p.w. Matki Bożej Różańcowej ogłoszony został Komitet Budowy Pomnika mjr Mariana Bernaciaka „Orlika”, w miejscu opuszczonym przez dotychczasowy monument, potwierdzający sowiecką dominację, w okolicy której torturowani i mordowani byli przez sowieckich okupantów Żołnierze Niezłomni.
